Wood-finish mats are also very popular. As a rule, these mats are made of bamboo or laminate. They are much more attractive than plastic mats. As bamboo mats are rolled up, they do not need much storage place. Of course, they will not cost $15, but they can boast of years of excellent service. Anyway, price of the mats depends on their material, shape and size.

No mater what style and form chair mats feature, they key requirements as to them is quality of surface which has to be hard. While their top side has to be absolutely smooth, the surface of the bottom side has to be dimpled. By the way, those people who use a computer or other electric appliances are better to use anti-static mats.
